Man About Town

Man About Town

Man About Town is a new project collaborating with the Cloth Cat Charity and funded by the Leeds Community Foundation.  We will work in areas of Leeds were male suicide is one of the highest rates in the country (LS13, LS12, LS11, LS10 and LS9). Our work will bring together groups of men in the their 40’s and 50’s, providing a creative outlet and opportunity for discussion and collaboration alongside a social platform to tackle isolation, desperation and thoughts of hopelessness. Alongside Cloth Cat the project will be represented by Jonathan Parker who is a safeTALK (Tell, Ask, Listen and KeepSafe) suicide awareness trained practitioner.
