Yorkshire and Humber Patient Safety Research Collaboration

On Wednesday we welcomed Gary and Inayah along to our music session to talk about the Yorkshire and Humber Patient Safety Research Collaboration work and to invite members of the group to fill in surveys.

The project is ongoing and we are inviting members from all of our groups to take part. If you would like to fill in an online form please get in touch. This is vital work and documents the clients experience. All survey's are anonymous and we thank Gary and Inayah for attending and representing the clients voice.

About the Project:

We are looking for people that have either had concerns themselves or concerns for someone they cared for, around their healthcare.

'Concerns' mean things like treatments or procedures that went wrong, missed or delayed diagnosis or treatment, or medicine errors, but there may be other examples where things went wrong.

The aim of this survey is to increase understanding how people who have healthcare concerns deal with them and their experience of using feedback services like PALS or Friends & Family Test.

People completing the survey on the day will be given a £5 gift voucher as a thank you for taking part, the survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. You will not be asked to give your name or any other identifiable information when completing the survey and your responses will be anonymous and confidential.
